The Book of Hajj
بَابُ الْجِلاَلِ لِلْبُدْنِ:
Chapter. The covering (sheet) of the Budn (camels for sacrifice).
Hadith Number: Q1707
وكان ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما لا يشق من الجلال إلا موضع السنام، وإذا نحرها نزع جلالها مخافة ان يفسدها الدم، ثم يتصدق بها.
And Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to tear only the hump-covering cloth, and when he would sacrifice it, he would remove the cloth out of fear that it might be stained with blood, and then he would also give that as charity.

حدثنا قبيصة، حدثنا سفيان، عن ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى، عن علي رضي الله عنه، قال:" امرني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان اتصدق بجلال البدن التي نحرت وبجلودها".
Narrated `Ali: Allah's Apostle ordered me to give in charity the skin and the coverings of the Budn which I had slaughtered.
