باب مَا جَاءَ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ فِي فَصِّ الْخَاتَمِ
Chapter: What Kind of Ring Stone is Recommended?
Hadith Number: 1740
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان، حدثنا حفص بن عمر بن عبيد الله الطنافسي، حدثنا زهير ابو خيثمة، عن حميد، عن انس، قال: " كان خاتم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من فضة، فصه منه "، قال ابو عيسى: هذا حديث حسن صحيح غريب من هذا الوجه.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the ring of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was made of silver, and its stone was also of the same (silver). Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib through this chain.
