Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(At bedtime) close the door, tie the mouth of the water-skin, turn the vessels upside down or cover them, and extinguish the lamp, for Satan does not open a closed door, nor untie a knot, nor uncover a covered vessel. (And extinguish the lamp because) a mouse can burn down people's houses." __QUR_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- It has also been narrated from Jabir through other chains,
3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ibn Umar, Abu Hurairah, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them).

'Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not leave (burning) fire in your houses when you go to sleep." Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
