Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: "O you people! You recite this Ayah: Take care of yourselves! If you follow the guidance no harm shall come to you. I indeed heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying: 'When the people see the wrongdoer and they do not take him by the hand, then soon Allah shall envelope you in a punishment from him.'"

`With this chain as well, a similar hadith is narrated from Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is authentic,
2- Several people have narrated a hadith similar to Yazid’s from Ismail in this manner,
3- While narrating from Ismail, some people have reported it as marfu‘ and some as mawquf,
4- In this chapter, hadiths have also been reported from Aisha, Umm Salamah, Nu‘man bin Bashir, Abdullah bin Umar, and Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with them).
