Simak bin Harb narrated from Jabir bin Samurah who said " The Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: 'There will be twelve Amir after me."' He said: "Then he said something that I did not understand. So I asked the one who was next to me, who said that he(s.a.w) had said: 'All of them are from Quraish."'

‘With this chain also,’ a similar hadith is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah. Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah through several chains,
2- This hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib; it is Gharib due to the narration of Abu Bakr bin Abu Musa from Jabir bin Samurah,
3- In this chapter, ahadith have also been reported from Ibn Mas’ud and Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both).
