Hands Should Be Placed on Chest in Prayer
Hadith Number: 115
409- وبه: عن سهل انه قال: كان الناس يؤمرون ان يضع الرجل يده اليمنى على ذراعه اليسرى فى الصلاة، قال ابو حازم: ولا اعلم إلا انه ينمي ذلك.
And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl (bin Sa’d al-Sa’idi) رضي الله عنه that people were commanded that a man should place his right hand on his left forearm. Abu Hazim رحمه الله said: I know that he used to narrate it as marfu’.
