Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would observe i'tikaf, he would bring his head (out of the mosque) towards me and I would comb his hair, and he would only enter the house for human needs.
