It is narrated from Sayyida Judama bint Wahb al-Asadiyya (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: I had intended to prohibit ghilah (intercourse with a pregnant or nursing wife), but then I remembered that the Romans and Persians do this, and it does not harm their children.
