Madinah Is a Sanctuary
Hadith Number: 638
16- وبه: عن ابى هريرة انه كان يقول: لو رايت الظباء ترتع بالمدينة ما ذعرتها، قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ”ما بين لابتيها حرام.“
And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he used to say: If I see deer grazing in Madinah, I will not scare them away. (Because) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The area between the two black stones (the land of Madinah) is a sanctuary (Haram)."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Uhud (mountain), he said: "This mountain loves us and we love it.
