Charity Was Forbidden for the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 94
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إني لانقلب إلى اهلي فاجد التمرة ساقطة على فراشي او في بيتي فارفعها لآكلها، ثم اخشى ان تكون من الصدقة، فالقيها"
And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When I return to my house, I find a date lying on my bed (in my house), and I pick it up to eat it, but then, fearing that it might be from charity, I throw it away."
