Shamail al-Tirmidhi
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي خَلْقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the physical appearance of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
Ibrahim (peace be upon him) Resembled the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 13
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال: اخبرني الليث بن سعد، عن ابي الزبير، عن جابر بن عبد الله، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «عرض علي الانبياء، فإذا موسى عليه السلام ضرب من الرجال، كانه من رجال شنوءة، ورايت عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام، فإذا اقرب من رايت به شبها عروة بن مسعود، ورايت إبراهيم عليه السلام، فإذا اقرب من رايت به شبها صاحبكم، يعني نفسه، ورايت جبريل عليه السلام فإذا اقرب من رايت به شبها دحية»
It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“(On the night of Mi’raj) the noble Prophets were presented before me, so I saw that Musa (peace be upon him) was a lean, thin man, resembling the people of the tribe of Shanu’ah. And I saw ‘Isa (peace be upon him), and among all the people I have seen, in appearance he most resembled ‘Urwah bin Mas’ud. And I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and among all the people I have seen, in appearance he most resembled your master (peace and blessings be upon him). And I saw Jibril (peace be upon him), and among all the people I have seen, in my view, he most resembled Dihyah (al-Kalbi).”
