بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي شَعْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the hair of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
His Hair Was Neither Very Curly Nor Completely Straight
Hadith Number: 27
حدثنا محمد بن بشار قال: حدثنا وهب بن جرير بن حازم قال: حدثني ابي، عن قتادة قال: قلت لانس: كيف كان شعر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قال: «لم يكن بالجعد ولا بالسبط، كان يبلغ شعره شحمة اذنيه»
Sayyiduna Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) how the blessed hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was. He replied: The blessed hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was neither very curly nor completely straight; the blessed hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would reach to his earlobes.
