بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي نَعْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the sandals of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
The Prophet’s and Aisha’s shoes
Hadith Number: 85
حدثنا محمد بن مرزوق ابو عبد الله قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن قيس ابو معاوية قال: حدثنا هشام، عن محمد، عن ابي هريرة قال: «كان لنعل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قبالان وابي بكر وعمر» ، «واول من عقد عقدا واحدا عثمان»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Each blessed sandal of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had two straps, and so did those of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him). And Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was the first person who tied a knot in one strap.
