Shamail al-Tirmidhi
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِفَةِ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the description of the sword of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
Companions followed the Prophet in sword making
Hadith Number: 107
حدثنا محمد بن شجاع البغدادي قال: حدثنا ابو عبيدة الحداد، عن عثمان بن سعد، عن ابن سيرين قال: «صنعت سيفي على سيف سمرة بن جندب، وزعم سمرة انه صنع سيفه على سيف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وكان حنفيا»
Imam Ibn Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I made my sword according to the sword of Samurah bin Jundub, and Samurah believes that he made his sword according to the sword of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the sword of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was like the sword of the tribe of Banu Hanifah.

قال الشيخ زبير على زئي:سنده ضعيف
Hadith Number: 108
حدثنا عقبة بن مكرم البصري قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر، عن عثمان بن سعد، بهذا الإسناد نحوه
Usman bin Sa’d narrated this tradition with a similar chain of transmission.
