بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِفَةِ مِغْفَرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the description of the helmet of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
The Prophet wore armor on the day of Makkah’s conquest
Hadith Number: 111
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال: حدثنا مالك بن انس، عن ابن شهاب، عن انس بن مالك: ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل مكة وعليه مغفر، فقيل له: هذا ابن خطل متعلق باستار الكعبة، فقال: «اقتلوه»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, who says that when the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered Makkah, there was a helmet on his blessed head. It was said: "This is Ibn Khatal, who is clinging to the covering of the Ka'bah." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Kill him."
