بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِفَةِ أَكْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the eating habits of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
Eating while squatting
Hadith Number: 141
حدثنا احمد بن منيع قال: حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال: حدثنا مصعب بن سليم قال: سمعت انس بن مالك يقول: «اتي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بتمر فرايته ياكل وهو مقع من الجوع»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that he says: Dates were presented to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I saw that he, peace and blessings be upon him, was eating them, and due to hunger, he, peace and blessings be upon him, was sitting on his buttocks with his shins upright.
