بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِفَةِ إِدَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the condiment of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
Eating cooked food does not break wudu
Hadith Number: 175
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد، عن سهيل بن ابي صالح، عن ابيه، عن ابي هريرة، انه «راى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم توضا من اكل ثور اقط، ثم رآه اكل من كتف شاة، ثم صلى ولم يتوضا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, perform ablution after eating pieces of cheese. Then (on another occasion) he saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, eat the meat of a goat's shoulder and he did not perform ablution.
