The Prophet often prayed nafl sitting in his last days
Hadith Number: 281
حدثنا الحسن بن محمد الزعفراني قال: حدثنا الحجاج بن محمد، عن ابن جريج قال: اخبرني عثمان بن ابي سليمان، ان ابا سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، اخبره ان عائشة، اخبرته «ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يمت حتى كان اكثر صلاته وهو جالس»
Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (in his last days), before his passing, would often perform voluntary prayers while sitting.
