Humaid reports that it was asked from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the earnings of a cupper, so he replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done, and the one who performed cupping for him was Abu Taybah. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that he be given two sa’ of grain, and he also spoke to his master (because of which) they reduced some of his tax. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Cupping is the best of your treatments,”or he said:“The best of your medicines is cupping.”
