Shamail al-Tirmidhi
بَابُ: مَا جَاءَ فِي مِيرَاثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
My heirs should not divide my wealth
Hadith Number: 404
حدثنا محمد بن بشار قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي قال: حدثنا سفيان، عن ابي الزناد، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لا يقسم ورثتي دينارا ولا درهما، ما تركت بعد نفقة نسائي ومؤنة عاملي فهو صدقة»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "My heirs should not distribute dirhams and dinars from my inheritance; whatever remains after taking out the expenses for my wives and my worker should be given in charity."
