Shamail al-Tirmidhi
بَابُ: مَا جَاءَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَنَامِ
Chapter: What has been reported concerning seeing the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a dream
Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me
Hadith Number: 409
حدثنا قتيبة، قال: حدثنا خلف بن خليفة، عن ابي مالك الاشجعي، عن ابيه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «من رآني في المنام فقد رآني» قال ابو عيسى:" وابو مالك هذا هو: سعد بن طارق بن اشيم، وطارق بن اشيم هو من اصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد روى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم احاديث"
Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ashja'i narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Tariq bin Ashyam, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever saw me in a dream has indeed seen me." Imam Tirmidhi, may Allah have mercy on him, says: By Abu Malik is meant Sa'd bin Tariq bin Ashyam. Sayyiduna Tariq bin Ashyam, may Allah be pleased with him, was a companion of the Messenger who narrated a few hadiths from the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
