Reason for Qunoot Nazilah

-" كان لا يقنت إلا إذا دعا لقوم، او دعا على قوم".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would not recite the Du'a Qunoot except when he prayed for or against a people.
