Eating on Eid al-Fitr morning is Sunnah

- (من السنة ان يطعم [يوم الفطر] قبل ان يخرج ولو بتمرة).
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says: It is Sunnah to eat something before going out on the day of Eid, even if it is dates.
