Makkans’ weight and Madinans’ measure are valid in Shariah

-" الوزن وزن اهل مكة، والمكيال مكيال اهل المدينة".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“(In Shari’ah) the weight (i.e., weighing) of the people of Makkah and the measure of the people of Madinah are considered valid.”
