Hosting Guests is Obligatory

-" ليلة الضيف حق على كل مسلم، فمن اصبح بفنائه فهو عليه دين إن شاء اقتضى وإن شاء ترك".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Karima Shami رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "The hospitality of the first day for a guest is a right upon every (host) Muslim. The right of a guest who comes to someone's house is a debt upon him. It is up to the guest whether he demands his right or not."
