- (قال رجل: الحمد لله كثيرا، فاعظمها الملك ان يكتبها، وراجع فيها ربه عز وجل، فقيل له: اكتبها كما قال عبدي: كثيرا).
Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man said «الحمدلله كثيرا» 'All praise is due to Allah, abundant praise.' This word was burdensome for the angel to write, so he spoke to Allah Almighty. He was told, 'Write it as My servant has said «كثيرا» .'"
