- (اما إن ربك يحب المحامد).
Sayyiduna Aswad bin Sari’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was a poet. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have praised my Lord. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Beware! Indeed, your Lord loves praises.”The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not say anything more to me than this.
