Book of Merits and Faults
The Prophet was from Banu Kinana
Numbering by, Al-Albani: 2375, Fiqh-based: ,3191
-" نحن بنو النضر بن كنانة، لا نقفو امنا ولا ننتفي من ابينا".
Sayyiduna Jafshish Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! From which people are you?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We are from Banu Nadr bin Kinana. We do not slander our mother, nor do we deny our father."
