It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the night I was taken on the Night Journey, I saw some people whose lips were being cut with scissors of fire. I said: O Jibreel! Who are these people? He said: These are the preachers of your ummah who command the people to do good, but forget their own selves, even though they recite the Book. Do they not have sense?"
