Book of Paradise and Hell
Reward for charity and loans
Numbering by, Al-Albani: 3407, Fiqh-based: ,3940
- (دخل رجل الجنة، فراى على بابها مكتوبا: الصدقة بعشر امثالها، والقرض بثمانية عشر).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man entered Paradise and saw that on one of its doors (this inscription) was written: The reward of charity is tenfold, and the reward of a loan is eighteenfold."
