Reason for the Prophet’s daughter being named Fatimah
Hadith Number: 242
انما سماها فاطمة لان الله فطمها و محبيها من النار
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) named his daughter Fatimah (the one who prevents) because Allah, the Exalted, has prevented her and those who love her from the Fire."
