Description of the Prophet’s appearance and character.
Narrated Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him): Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) led the Asr prayer, then went on foot (on the way) and saw Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), who was playing with the children. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) lifted him onto his shoulder and said, "May my father be sacrificed for you, you resemble the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and do not resemble Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)." Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was laughing upon hearing this.

Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) resembled Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). So it was said to him (Abu Juhaifah), "Describe the appearance of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." He said: He (peace be upon him) was fair-skinned, his hair was partly white and partly black, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us to be given thirteen camels, but we had not yet taken those camels when he (the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was of medium stature, neither very tall nor very short. His complexion was fair with a reddish tinge, not completely white (like lime), nor very wheatish (yellowish), but rather reddish-white. His hair was neither very curly nor completely straight. Revelation descended upon him at the age of forty. He (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah for ten years. Revelation (the Qur'an) continued to descend, and he stayed in Madinah for ten years. At the time of his passing, there were not even twenty white hairs in his blessed head and beard. (Note: The Arabs sometimes count in tens and leave out the units, although the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years after prophethood.)

Narrated by Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was of medium height and there was a gap between his shoulders (his chest was broad). Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing prayer (at noon) in the valley of Batha, and in front of him a spear (as a sutrah) was fixed.... This hadith has already passed (see the Book: Description of Prayer... Chapter: The Sutrah of the Imam is also the Sutrah of the Followers) and in this narration, Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that people stood up and began to take the hand of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and wipe it over their faces (for blessings). Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I also took the hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and placed it on my face, and it was cooler than ice and more fragrant than musk.
