Hadith Number: 776
عن عروة عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: «من عمر ارضا ليست لاحد فهو احق بها» رواه البخاري. قال عروة: وقضى به عمر في خلافته.
Narrated 'Urwa from 'Aishah (RA): The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: "He who develops land that does not belong to anyone, has the most right to it." 'Urwa said that 'Umar ruled according to that during his caliphate. [Reported by al-Bukhari]
Hadith Number: 777
وعن سعيد بن زيد رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: «من احيا ارضا ميتة فهي له» . رواه الثلاثة وحسنه الترمذي وقال: روي مرسلا وهو كما قال. واختلف في صحابيه فقيل: جابر وقيل: عائشة وقيل: عبد الله بن عمر والراجح الاول.
Narrated Sa'id bin Zaid (RA): The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: "If anyone makes a barren land productive, then it belongs to him." [Reported by ath-Thalatha. at-Tirmidhi graded it Hasan (good)] . And he (at-Tirmidhi) said that it was reported in a Mursal (missing link after the Tabi'i) form, which is the case. However, there is disagreement regarding the Companion who heard it from the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), and it has been said that it was Jabir, 'Aishah or 'Abdullah bin 'Umar, and the strongest opinion is that it was the first one (i.e. Jabir).
Hadith Number: 778
وعن ابن عباس ان الصعب بن جثامة الليثي اخبره ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: «لا حمى إلا لله ولرسوله» . رواه البخاري.
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA) that as-Sa'b bin Jaththamah al-Laithi (RA) informed him that the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had said, "There is no preserve except what belongs to Allah and His Messenger." [Reported by al-Bukhari] .
Hadith Number: 779
وعنه رضي الله تعالى عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «لا ضرر ولا ضرار» . رواه احمد وابن ماجه. وله من حديث ابي سعيد مثله وهو في الموطا مرسل.
Narrated [Ibn 'Abbas (RA)] : Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: "There should neither be harming (of others without cause), nor reciprocating harm (between two parties)." [Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Majah] . Ibn Majah reported something similar to the aforesaid Hadith from Abu Sa'id's narration. It is found in al-Muwatta' in a Mursal form (missing link after the Tabi'i).
Hadith Number: 780
وعن سمرة بن جندب رضي الله تعالى عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «من احاط حائطا على ارض فهي له» . رواه ابو داود وصححه ابن الجارود.
Narrated Samurah bin Jundub (RA): Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: "If anyone puts a wall around a (barren) land, it belongs to him." [Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn al-Jarud graded it Sahih (authentic)] .
Hadith Number: 781
وعن عبد الله بن مغفل ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: «من حفر بئرا فله اربعون ذراعا عطنا لماشيته» . رواه ابن ماجه بإسناد ضعيف.
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal (RA): The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), "Whoever digs a well, shall have forty cubits (of land) as resting place for his animals near the water." [Reported by Ibn Majah through a weak chain of narrators] .
Hadith Number: 782
وعن علقمة بن وائل عن ابيه: ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم اقطعه ارضا بحضرموت. رواه ابو داود والترمذي وصححه ابن حبان.
Narrated 'Alqama bin Wa'il from his father (RA): "The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) assigned him land in Hadramout." [Reported by Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi. Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)] .
Hadith Number: 783
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما: ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم اقطع الزبير حضر فرسه فاجرى الفرس حتى قام ثم رمى بسوطه فقال: «اعطوه حيث بلغ السوط» . رواه ابو داود وفيه ضعف.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA): The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) assigned az-Zubair the land his horse could cover at a run. He made his horse run, and when it stopped he threw his whip. He then said, "Give to him up to the spot his has reached. [Reported by Abu Dawud, but it has weakness] .
Hadith Number: 784
وعن رجل من الصحابة رضي الله عنه قال: غزوت مع النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فسمعته يقول: «الناس شركاء في ثلاثة: في الكلإ والماء والنار» . رواه احمد وابو داود ورجاله ثقات.
Narrated A man of the Companions (RA): I went on an expedition with the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and heard him say, "People are partners in three things: grazing, pasture, water and fire." [Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud, and its narrators are reliable (thiqah)] .
