باب الرهب من مساوئ الأخلاق
Hadith Number: 1277
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «إياكم والحسد فإن الحسد ياكل الحسنات كما تاكل النار الحطب» اخرجه ابو داود، ولابن ماجه من حديث انس نحوه.
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Avoid envy, for envy devours good deeds just as fire devours firewood.”Related by Abu Dawud. Ibn Majah related a similar hadith on the authority of Anas.
Hadith Number: 1278
وعنه رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «ليس الشديد بالصرعة وإنما الشديد الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب» متفق عليه.
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“The strong man is not the good wrestler; but the strong man is he who controls himself when he is angry.”Agreed upon.
Hadith Number: 1279
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «الظلم ظلمات يوم القيامة» . متفق عليه.
Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Oppression will turn into darkness on the Day of Resurrection.”Agreed upon.
Hadith Number: 1280
وعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «اتقوا الظلم فإن الظلم ظلمات يوم القيامة واتقوا الشح فإنه اهلك من كان قبلكم» اخرجه مسلم.
Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Beware of oppression, for oppression will turn into excessive darkness on the Day of Resurrection and beware of niggardliness, for niggardliness destroyed your predecessors.”Related by Muslim.
Hadith Number: 1281
وعن محمود بن لبيد رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «إن اخوف ما اخاف عليكم الشرك الاصغر: الرياء» . اخرجه احمد بإسناد حسن.
Mahmud bin Labid (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“The thing I fear most for you is the lesser shirk (polytheism), showing-off (of good deeds).”Related by Ahmad with a good chain of narrators,
Hadith Number: 1282
وعن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «آية المنافق ثلاث إذا حدث كذب وإذا وعد اخلف وإذا اؤتمن خان» متفق عليه ولهما من حديث عبد الله بن عمرو: «وإذا خاصم فجر» .
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“There are three signs of a hypocrite: when he speaks, he tells lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays his trust.”Agreed upon. Al·Bukhari and Muslim reported another hadith on the authority of ’Abdullah bin ’Umar (RAA) with the addition,“and when he quarrels, he is abusive (behaves in a very impudent and insulting manner).”
Hadith Number: 1283
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «سباب المسلم فسوق وقتاله كفر» . متفق عليه.
Ibn Mas'ud (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: insulting a Muslim is disobedience to Allah, and fighting with him is Kufr (disbelief).”Agreed upon.
Hadith Number: 1284
وعن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «إياكم والظن فإن الظن اكذب الحديث» . متفق عليه.
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the most false form of talk.”Agreed upon.
Hadith Number: 1285
وعن معقل بن يسار رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول: «ما من عبد يسترعيه الله رعية يموت يوم يموت وهو غاش لرعيته إلا حرم الله عليه الجنة» متفق عليه.
Ma'qil bin Yasar (RAA) narrated, ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saying,“Any governor in charge of Muslim subjects who dies while acting dishonestly towards them will be excluded by Allah from Paradise.”Agreed upon.
Hadith Number: 1286
وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «اللهم من ولي من امر امتي شيئا فشق عليهم فاشقق عليه» اخرجه مسلم.
‘A’ishah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“O Allah, cause distress to him who has any charge over my people and causes them distress.”Related by Muslim.
