Book of Paradise and Hell and Their Description
Statement about the shade of a tree in Paradise
Hadith Number: 978
اخبرنا النضر، نا عوف، عن خلاس، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((في الجنة شجرة يسير الراكب في ظلها مائة عام لا يقطعها)).
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "In Paradise, there is a tree under whose shade a rider will travel for a hundred years, but its shade will not end."

Hadith Number: 979
قال عوف، وقال الحسن، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مثله. قال عوف: ((وبلغني انه الظل الممدود)).
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and ‘Awf narrated: I have been informed that it (the shade) will be extended.
