كِتَابُ صِلَةِ الرَّحِمِ
Book of Maintaining Ties of Kinship
بَابُ لا تَنْزِلُ الرَّحْمَةُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فِيهِمْ قَاطِعُ رَحِمٍ
Chapter: Mercy Does Not Descend Upon a People with a Severer of Kinship
Hadith Number: 63
حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى، قال: اخبرنا سليمان ابو إدام قال: سمعت عبد الله بن ابي اوفى يقول: عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”إن الرحمة لا تنزل على قوم فيهم قاطع رحم.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Indeed, the mercy of Allah does not descend upon a people among whom there is one who severs the ties of kinship."
