Hadith Number: 1112
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that he passed by a man whose appearance was like that of a Muslim. The man greeted with salam, so Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: «وعلیک ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ» . His servant said to him: That man is a Christian. Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) got up, went after that man, found him and said: Allah’s mercy and His blessings are for the people of faith, but may Allah grant you a long life and increase you in wealth and children.
