باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ الاِسْتِنْجَاءِ بِعَظْمٍ وَرَوْثٍ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Cleaning with Bones or Dung
Hadith Number: 695
اخبرنا ابو عاصم، عن ابن جريج، عن عبد الكريم هو ابن ابي المخارق، عن الوليد بن مالك من عبد القيس، عن محمد بن قيس مولى سهل بن حنيف، عن سهل بن حنيف رضي الله عنه، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال له: "انت رسولي إلى اهل مكة، فقل: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقرا عليكم السلام، ويامركم ان لا تستنجوا بعظم، ولا ببعرة"، قال ابو عاصم مرة: وينهاكم او يامركم.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunaif (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "You are my envoy and messenger to the people of Makkah, so tell them that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sends you greetings of peace and commands you not to use bones or dung for istinja (purification)." In one narration, Abu Asim said: «ينهاكم أو يأمركم» .
