باب كَمْ يَكْفِي في الْوُضُوءِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ:
Chapter: How Much Water Suffices for Ablution
Hadith Number: 710
اخبرنا محمد بن يوسف، عن سفيان، عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل، عن محمد بن الحنفية، عن علي رضي الله عنه، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "مفتاح الصلاة الطهور، وتحريمها التكبير، وتحليلها التسليم".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The key to prayer is purification, its opening is the takbeer, and its closing is the salam."

Hadith Number: 711
اخبرنا محمد بن عيسى، حدثنا ابن علية، حدثنا ابو ريحانة، عن سفينة رضي الله عنه، قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم "يتوضا بالمد ويغتسل بالصاع".
Sayyiduna Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ablution with one mudd and take a bath with one sa’ of water.

Hadith Number: 712
اخبرنا ابو الوليد الطيالسي، حدثنا شعبة، اخبرني عبد الله بن عبد الله بن جبر، قال: سمعت انسا، يقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "يتوضا بالمكوك، ويغتسل بخمس مكاكي".
Abdullah bin Abdullah said: I heard Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ablution with one makuk and would perform ghusl with five makuk.
