The Book of Menses (Menstrual Periods)
بَابُ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ الطُّهْرَ:
Chapter. When a woman having bleeding in between her periods notices signs of cleanliness from her menses.
Hadith Number: Q331
قال ابن عباس: تغتسل وتصلي ولو ساعة، وياتيها زوجها إذا صلت الصلاة اعظم.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: She should perform ghusl and pray, even if it is only for a short time during the day, and her husband may come to her after the prayer. Because prayer is the most magnificent thing.

Hadith Number: 331
حدثنا احمد بن يونس، عن زهير، قال: حدثنا هشام، عن عروة، عن عائشة، قالت: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إذا اقبلت الحيضة فدعي الصلاة، وإذا ادبرت فاغسلي عنك الدم وصلي".
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said to me, "Give up the prayer when your menses begin and when it has finished, wash the blood off your body (take a bath) and start praying."
