باب رَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ عِنْدَ افْتِتَاحِ الصَّلاَةِ:
Chapter: Raising the hands at the start of prayer
Hadith Number: 1271
اخبرنا عبيد الله بن عبد المجيد الحنفي، حدثنا ابن ابي ذئب، عن محمد بن عمرو بن عطاء، عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان، عن ابي هريرة، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "لم يكن يقوم إلى الصلاة إلا رفع يديه مدا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood for prayer, he would raise his hands.
