باب الْقَوْلِ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ:
Chapter: What to say between the two prostrations
Hadith Number: 1361
اخبرنا ابو نعيم، حدثنا زهير، عن العلاء بن المسيب، عن عمرو بن مرة، عن طلحة بن يزيد الانصاري، عن حذيفة، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقول بين السجدتين: "رب اغفر لي". فقيل لعبد الله: تقول هذا؟ قال: ربما قلت، وربما سكت.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say «رب اغفرلي» between the two prostrations. Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: Do you also say this? He replied: Sometimes I say it, sometimes I remain silent.
