From the Book of Prayer
باب الْمَرْأَةِ تَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي:
Chapter: Woman in front of the praying person
Hadith Number: 1451
اخبرنا عبد الله بن صالح، حدثني الليث، حدثني عقيل، عن ابن شهاب، حدثني عروة بن الزبير، ان عائشة اخبرته، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم"كان يصلي وهي بينه وبين القبلة على فراش اهله اعتراض الجنازة".
Sayyiduna Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray while she was lying on the bed between him and the Qiblah, in the manner that a bier is placed (for prayer).
