باب في أَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ في أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ:
Chapter: Four rak‘ahs at the start of the day
Hadith Number: 1490
اخبرنا اخبرنا ابو النعمان، حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان، عن برد، حدثني سليمان بن موسى، عن مكحول، عن كثير بن مرة الحضرمي، عن قيس الجذامي، عن نعيم بن همار الغطفاني، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "قال الله تعالى: ابن آدم، صل لي اربع ركعات من اول النهار، اكفك آخره".
It is narrated from Na’eem bin Hammar Al-Ghatafani that the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said:“Allah, the Exalted, says: O son of Adam! Perform four rak‘ahs of prayer for Me at the beginning of the day, and I will suffice you till the end of the day.”
