Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever gives charity from his lawful earnings—and Allah accepts only that which is lawful—it is as if he placed (that charity) in the palm of the Most Merciful. Then Allah nurtures it for one of you, just as one of you raises his young animal, until it (the charity) becomes like the mountain of Uhud.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:“Charity does not decrease wealth, and whoever forgives, Allah increases his honor, and whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah raises his rank.”
