From the Book of Fasting
باب النَّهْيِ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ بَعْدَ انْتِصَافِ شَعْبَانَ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Fasting After Mid-Sha’ban
Hadith Number: 1778
اخبرنا عبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث، حدثنا عبد الرحمن الحنفي يقال: عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم، عن العلاء، عن ابيه، عن ابي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إذا كان النصف من شعبان، فامسكوا عن الصوم".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When half of Sha'ban has passed, then do not fast."

With this chain also, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) similar to the aforementioned hadith.
