Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“May Allah’s mercy be upon those who shave their heads.”It was asked: And those who shorten their hair? He said:“May Allah’s mercy be upon those who shave their heads.”When, for the fourth time, it was asked regarding those who shorten their hair, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“And may Allah’s mercy be upon those who shorten their hair as well.”
