باب فِيمَنْ يَبِيتُ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ عِلَّةٍ:
Chapter: Staying in Mecca During Mina Nights Due to Illness
Hadith Number: 1982
اخبرنا عبد الله بن سعيد، حدثنا ابو اسامة، عن عبيد الله، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر: ان العباس بن عبد المطلب استاذن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ليبيت بمكة ليالي منى من اجل سقايته. فاذن له".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to spend the nights of Mina in Makkah in order to provide water to the pilgrims. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted him permission.
