باب: «طَعَامُ الْوَاحِدِ يَكْفِي الاِثْنَيْنِ» :
Chapter: One Person’s Food Suffices Two
Hadith Number: 2081
اخبرنا ابو عاصم، عن ابن جريج، عن ابي الزبير، عن جابر، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "طعام الواحد يكفي الاثنين، وطعام الاثنين يكفي الاربعة، وطعام الاربعة يكفي ثمانية".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The food of one person is sufficient for two people, and the food of two people is sufficient for four, and the food of four is sufficient for eight people."
