باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ أَكْلِ وَسَطِ الثَّرِيدِ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ جَوَانِبَهُ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Eating from the Middle of the Dish Before the Sides
Hadith Number: 2083
اخبرنا سعيد بن عامر، عن شعبة، عن عطاء بن السائب، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اتي بجفنة، او قال: قصعة من ثريد فقال: "كلوا من حافاتها او قال: جوانبها ولا تاكلوا من وسطها، فإن البركة تنزل في وسطها".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a bowl (dish) filled with tharid was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: "Eat from its edges, and do not eat from its center, for blessing descends in its center."
